Ristretto
—The smallest is the strongest
The "smallest" one in the Espresso family is prepared with the same amount of ground coffee as regular espresso, but with less water. Thus it is restricted and therefore called "ristretto".



Caffè Espresso


—All it really takes is good equipment, 7 grams of fine coffee, pure water and a lot of passion. Crema, it's the coffee's heart and soul and every time you see it, you'll recognize it!

 

Caffè Lungo

—A long espresso
Double shot of espresso is mixed with an equal amount of water to create a "long" espresso. Also known as "Americano" as it is similar to traditional American coffee.


Café Crema
—A beautiful, bright Crema.

The large one from Switzerland Coffee on "Swiss type" - due to the bright Crema it is called in Swiss vernacular also affectionately " Schuemli ".

The Art of Making Good Milk Froth
Cappuccino, is often perceived to be too difficult and complicated to keep its consistency. Our quality espresso machine and special developed Italian milk blend is capable of generating the correct ratio of froth, steamed milk, and espresso
which is the secret to a great cappuccino and espresso drinks.



Café au Lait

—The French cousin

Double shot espresso and the same amount of hot milk, served in a "bol", the typical French dish.




Caffè Latte



—The breakfast beverage

Caffè Latte is a mixture of steamed milk with espresso - approximately three parts milk to one part espresso.




 

Caffè Macchiato

—Some hot milk
with foam is added to the espresso and because of this way of preparation it sometimes becomes a little speckled and so it received its Italian name.

 

Cappuccino

—The classic cappuccino
calls for equal quantities of espresso, milk and milk froth with no cream. A nice addition is some cocoa powder sprinkled on top of the frothed milk.

—This drink is made with a long espresso
and some hot milk, topped with whipped cream and some chocolate bits.

—Italians learned long ago that their favorite drink, the espresso, could be spiced up with the addition of grappa, brandy or their liqueur of choice.

—Two scoops of vanilla ice cream
in a tall glass with whipped cream. Top it off with an espresso lungo and add some more cream and chocolate bits for decoration.
